How is Ayurveda effective in strengthening your Immunity?

 

Nature is rare now. Ayurveda is one of the oldest traditional methods of medicine. It combines various natural resources like herbs, food, and yogic breathing to cure any illness of your body. As natural and powerful it is, you can increase your Immunity by practicing Ayurveda in your daily routine. Following are some ways on how to increase Immunity and strengthen your immune mechanism to fight off diseases -

 

       Stay hydrated

When your body is hydrated and adequate moisture is present in your throats and membrane, it helps in the elimination of microbes. In Ayurveda, your body behaves wrongly if it is dehydrated due to an imbalance of salts, fluids, and minerals. You should intake at least 2-3 liters of water daily with some additional liquids if you do an intensive workout or live in a hot climate.

 

       Ayurvedic diet

A healthy diet is a key to a better lifestyle. You can sort and maintain your immunity system by just having a proper meal. Consume food enriched with antioxidants and vitamin C. You can have green leafy vegetables, tomatoes, seeds, legumes, nuts, oranges, and papaya. In addition to this, you can have delicious healthy drinks. Protein shakes, fruit juice, or Horlicks rate is less cost-effective are some good options.

 

       Intake herbs

You cannot count the benefits of natural herbs. Start your day by consuming herbal tea made with tulsi, ginger, cinnamon, or pepper. Amla juice is also very beneficial. Try to consume at least 15ml of herbs daily. Natural ingredients are the best way to keep you fit and active.

 

       Accurate sleep cycle

Everything needs to be relaxed and rested so does our body. After all the work and tiring schedule, you should take proper sleep to restart fresh the next day. If your mind and body are not calm, it can affect your efficiency and lead to weakness and dizziness for the rest of your day.
